Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of Mahendru, who has a Russian mother from India and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as mother of a Russian mother. In her early teens she choreographed and performed a dance which led to the honor of a German television appearance. Her performance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English in New York. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB studio but the quit to pursue improvisation classes in the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. She was born to an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. When she was 13, her parents divorced and she left Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character in the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
